WOULDN'T IT BE FUN TO MARCH IN A PARADE?

Defend Oahu Coalition will march in the 62nd Annual Kailua 4th of July Parade to highlight the need for the preservation of the undeveloped land surrounding Turtle Bay !!!

Paint your own message on a sign, bring a banner, wave a flag but be there!  
    

MAKE AN INDEPENDENCE DAY STATEMENT!
Protect our Hawaiian cultural & burial sites, preserve our open green spaces, promote sustainability! 

Wear your green Keep the Country COUNTRY t-shirt...if you don't have one yet, FREE t-shirts will be available for all marchers at the parade.

If you're coming by car (please carpool if can), park at Kailua Intermediate School before 9 am.  Shuttle buses will transport participants between the school and staging area before and after the parade.  If you're arriving on foot or bike, look for the Defend Oahu Coalition staging area, 1st on Pukoa St. (see map below).  Wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat. DOC will provide water
